IVGI Team at the ISPRS Congress 2016 in Prague

The Congress of the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) took place in Prague from 12-19 July 2016. In addition to more than two thousand participants from all over the world, several IVGI members attended and successfully contributed as all six submitted papers were accepted for oral presentations.

Many scientific papers were presented in around ten oral parallel sessions and in a daily poster session. Some new products and trends were shown in the exhibition which was an excellent place for networking especially during coffee breaks.

Beside the tight scientific program, the long summer days allowed to explore the city and its culture in the evenings. We enjoyed modern architecture (Dancing House / Fred & Ginger) as well as heritage architecture (Castle of Prague, classical music concert). In the last evening, the gala dinner which took place in a nineteenth century’s villa in Slovansky Island offered a pleasant environment accompanied with live music.
